Terms of Service

The service

Fin analyzes presentations you choose, reports accessibility and quality issues, and can apply fixes you request. Fin is in active development ("early access"): features may change, and analysis is advisory — a good score is not a certification of legal compliance with any accessibility standard.

Your account and your content

• You're responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account.
• Your documents remain yours. You grant us permission to access and process them solely to provide the service — as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You may disconnect Google access or delete your account at any time.

Document changes and AI suggestions

• Fin modifies a presentation only when you (or someone you've authorized on your account) explicitly apply a fix. Every applied fix is recorded and can be rolled back from the fix history, but you are responsible for reviewing changes to your documents.
• AI-generated suggestions (such as proposed alt text) can be inaccurate or incomplete. Review them before applying — that's why Fin shows you the suggestion first and lets you edit it.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attempting to breach security, no probing or overloading the API, no using Fin to process content you don't have the right to access, and no reselling the service without our written agreement.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Windfall Inc is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).

Termination

You can stop using Fin at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, and we'll be reasonable about it. Upon account deletion, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes get an updated effective date above and, where appropriate, in-product or email notice. Continued use after changes means acceptance. Questions: kyle@windfallstudio.com.
